ON APRIL 30 EVENT FOR MORE THAN 100 PEOPLE ON CLAREMORE OKLAHOMA. SHE AGREED TO HELP WITH PAY TO ASSIST ON FOOD, JUST TO REHEAT THE FOOD, MAKE SOME TEA, DEEP FRY SOME EGGROLLS. SHE NEVER REHEAT ANY FOOD. ON MAKING TEA > SHE PUT A WHOLE 28 QUARTS CONCENTRATED ICED TEA MIX ON A 11/2 GAL CONTAINER WHICH IS SUPPOSED TO BE MIX WITH 7 GALLON WATERS. SHE WAS PROUD OF IT. WE END UP THROWING THE TEA. DEEP FRYING EGGROLL FOR 2 HOURS SHE ONLY COOK AT LEAST 60 PCS. SHE WAS HAVING A HARD TIME ON DEEP FRYER (BREAKER BOX) KEPT MESSING UP. INSTEAD OF FINDING A SOLUTION SHE COMPLAINT. SO I TOLD HER TO IMPROVISE! AND SHE DID NOT LIKE THAT! SHE STARTED HER COMPLAINT BY SAYING: " SABI KO NA NGA SAYO GANYAN ANG MANGYAYARI, BAKIT KASI NANAHIMIK AKO DITO TAPOS PUMASOK KA PINAKIKIALAMAN MO AKO,TAPOS SINASABIHAN MO PA AKO KUNG ANO ANG DAPAT KONG GAWIN."
WITH A RESPOND LIKE THAT WHAT KIND OF A HIRED WORKER IS THAT? SO I TOLD HER TO GET OUT OF MY FACE!
EVIDENTLY ACCORDING TO HER YOU CANNOT TELL HIRED WORKER WHAT TO DO. DESPITE OF THAT LESS THAN 3 HOURS WORK WE PAID HER $100 AND HIRED SOMEONE TO BRING HER BACK TO FORT SMITH, EVEN THOUGH SHE DID NOT FULFILL THE JOB SHE WAS HIRED FOR.
THERE ARE LOTS OF EMPTY BOXES FROM HER GARAGE SHE NEVER PAY FOR IT AND SOME OF MY METAL CLOTHES RACK 10 PIECES TOTAL AND SHE DOES NOT WANT TO RETURN. I SENT SOMEONE TO PICK IT UP SHE DID NOT WANT TO RETURN IT BACK. SHE LIED TO HER 22 YEAR OLD SON, HER SON THREATENED ME ON TEXT MESSAGES AND THEN VILMA MERCADO PUT A RESTRAINING ORDER AGAINST ME. WHAT A CROOKED PERSON!!!
SHE KEPT TELLING PEOPLE THAT I WAS MAKING FUN OF HER HEART PROBLEM. SHE ALWAYS USED AN EXCUSE ABOUT HER HEART PROBLEM IF SHE WAS CONFRONTED WITH HER LIES. SHE NEED TO SHUT HER MOUTH BECAUSE SHE WAS JUST EMBARRASSING HERSELF.

Due to the past experienced I have with Mr. Arthur Villamayor, many complaints from the customers on the delays and in one occasion they lost one of the box of Fort Smith customer. Mrs. Galvan sent 3 boxes on 03/2010, VILLAMAYOR only delivered 2 and according to them that is all they received. Mr. Villamayor gave us no report on what happened. June 2010, I have to pay the customer for her lost. I paid the customer $300 for her box and I returned her full shipping fee. Star Kargo had no plan to reimbursed me. Mr. Villamayor and I argued and I charged him $415 including the international long distance expenses. Villamayor Enterprises had a tendency to be LESS THAN HONEST WITH HIS AGENTS. So I decided that beginning in the month of September 2010 not to send anymore boxes through his company.

THE REASON WAS DURING THE LOADING IN HOUSTON WAREHOUSE IT GOT SEPARATED, THE BOXES ARE NOT NUMBERED (1/5, 2/5, 3/5, 4/5) AT THE TIME OF LOADING WE HAVE A NEW WAREHOUSE PERSON AND IT WAS A HECTIC DAY.  BUT THERE IS NO EXCUSE WITH THESE MISTAKES. CASE OF SOMEONE PROBABLY A NICE PERSON BUT SOMEHOW UNREASONABLE OR WITH A PARANOIA ISSUE
RECENT EXPERIENCED ON FEDEX TRANSACTION

ON JAN 02, SENDER TEXTED ME, SHE TEXTED THESE: "Just inquiring about the balikbayan box bound for pinas thru atlas texas. i called last Dec. 31 and today but ut answering machine is still turned on. My number is _ _ _. Am currently bssed n _ _ _, just spoke with ur atlas texas colleague."
I called the sender Jan. 03, explained to her the Fedex system during our conversation I emphasize to her the importance of informing me regarding the size of the package and the weight. As you will observed on her replied to my text she gave me the estimate weight  and size of the box.
After we talked on the phone, she sent me these text: Hi _ _, this is my email address _ _ _ Box is 24x18x18. Di ito mabigat ksi kalahating laman nito ay foam bed ng aso namin, at yung kalahati, mga grocery at chocolates lng para kay mommy. Thanks.
I replied to her text: Ms _ _ can you text me the info from your box. The name and sender n recipient. And contact nos of the recipient. This is for invoice so that I can e-mail you the fedex label. I will email you the info on what we talked about.
She sent me the information that I asked.
She said on her text: "Open ang fedex on sunday dito, we will try to send it by tomorrow or monday by d latest after we get ur fedex details, para makahabol kami sa Jan 13 na larga."
Then I asked her these: "Can you take picture of it. And send it to me. i will email the label tonight." "I just sent u an email. Test email to be sure it is the right one. Pls reply to it. Thnx."
I sent her to text o the information on what we talked about on how to send her box thru atlas using fedex and my company trhu Atlas going to the Phils. I did not email it to her because I got busy. So here it is:
STEP 1) Sender must follow the shipping instruction. Use only 2 inch wide clear tape (NOT duct tape or paper tape). Write the name n address of sender n recipient clearly and make sure it is readable.
STEP 2) skip this, you already give me this info. I need to know the name and address of the sender and recipient along with phone nos. and number of box that going to send. Also sender's email address address. So that I can make the fedex label.
STEP 3) I will email the fedex label n sender can print it out. Then sender can attach it to their boxes. Using clear tape. And drop it to any fedex store. Make sure the sender ask for receipt to fedex clerk proof they drop box showing how many box it is. THEY DON'T PAY FEDEX. THEY WILL NOT PAY FEDEX.
STEP 4) Once we receive the package/box we will inform the sender. We will send the invoice n tracking nos. Then the sender can mail check or money order.
STEP 5) Make check or money order payable to Palayok Sarisari and mail it to Palayok Sarisari at _ _ _ _. That's it.
This is her reply: "K. BB box all wrapped in clear plastic except for top which i taped with shipping tape to properly secure it ksi wala ako tiwala sa customs. Label containing sender n recipient details all taped in clear plastic for easy scanning by fedex."
"By the way, I don't understand d logic of clear plastic for taping box all over. I just makes d BB box susceptible to tampering by phil custons (that how she spelled it)."
I texted her back with asking: OK can you take pic of it so I can see it. Did you received the label already. I sent it passed midnight.
She said: "Sent it na. My entire box is wrapped in clear tape except for d top portion where i added shipping tape to secure it. Dati ksi akong OFW sa Malaysia, so pagdating sa phils customs, medyo alam ko na ang modus operandi."
This is what I explained to her: "I fyou have sent box thru atlas we never had any tampering yet. Specially on all of my clients personally or thru my agent. The logic of wrapping your box is to protect it from getting holes during transit, loading n unloading. Protect it from getting wet from the outside. And avoid from bursting specially if the box is extremely heavy. I hope it make sense now for you." "My co is bonded, licensed n insured same with my partners which is atlas. We don't operate under the radar of the law."
She replied: "Clear plastic, no prob. But in singapore we used heavy packing or shipping tapes para di mabutas sa phil customs. Clear plastic was never used. Dito lng ako sa US gumamit ng clear tape ksi sobrang mahal ng packaging tape dito, akala mo ginto binibili mo."
My answered: "If you use packaging tape with the stripes on it they stick with other box and they rolled out eventually. Duct tape is the same thing due changing temp the glued lost the strength. You can use them packaging tape or duct tape but kindly secure it with clear tape to avoid from rolling out. "
She asked: "How much is due me for 24x18x18 package? Magkano nga uli payment ipapadala namin via postal money order?"
I answered: "According to what we talked/texted $100. Pls don't forget to send me the pic. Pls inform me if you got the label already."
She said: "I sent d pic via email already today."
THE ABOVE EXCHANGE CONVERSATION THRU TEXT HAPPENED ON JAN. 04.
ON JAN. 09 THE WAREHOUSE IN HOUSTON WHERE THE FEDEX LABEL WAS ADDRESSED, SENT ME THE REPORT AND COMMENT ALONG WITH THE PICTURE.

THE REPORT SAID: "This box measures 20x20x25 and about 80 lbs. SO I FORWARD THAT TO THE SENDER. "
I SENT THE REPORT TO SENDER ON JAN. 09 AT EXACTLY 8:44 AM. ON JAN. 10, AT EXACTLY  6:41 PM SHE SENT A COMPLAINT TO THE MAIN OFFICE.
I GAVE HER A CALL ON THE SAME DAY JAN. 10 AROUND 7 PM AND I ASKED HER IF SHE CALLED THE MAIN OFFICE LOOKING FOR HER PACKAGE. I TOLD HER THAT THE PACKAGE JUST GOT IN TO THE WAREHOUSE COUPLE DAYS AGO. AND SHE SAID THAT SHE DID NOT CALL THE MAIN OFFICE LOOKING FOR HER BOX. SHE WAS UPSET BECAUSE WHY I SAID THAT THE BOX WAS 25x20x20 AND IT WEIGHT 80 LBS. I EXPLAINED TO HER THAT DO NOT WORRY ON THE BOX WEIGHT. I WAS THE ONE PUT THAT ESTIMATE ON FEDEX LABEL SINCE SHE CANNOT GIVE ME AN EXACT WEIGHT OF HE PACKAGE. THEN I ASKED DID YOU OVER PACKED THE BOX. AND SHE BECAME UNREASONABLE SO I HANGED UP. AT THIS MOMENT I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT IS HER EXACT COMPLAINT. LATER THAT NIGHT WHEN I FINALLY CAME HOME AND CHECKED MY E-MAIL HERE IT IS:

Hi! My name is _ _ _ . I am sending this email to report consumer fraud, an attempt to extort money and an overt attempt to mislead a Filipino wanting to send a balikbayan box from Baton Rouge to Bacolod City, Neg. Occ.  This incident is based on dealings with your ATLAS HOUSTON branch.

Last December 2014, I spoke with your ATLAS TEXAS agent whose contact details I got from the ATLAS website to discuss about a balikbayan box I was planning to send after Christmas.  A man named DANNY took my call  and informed me that I can send my package through FEDEX so they (FEDEX) can send my package  from Baton Rouge to the ATLAS WAREHOUSE in Houston.  He informed me that ATLAS and FEDEX have an existing arrangement for these drop-off services. A woman named EULA will then call me up to prepare the label.

The ATLAS TEXAS contact I called was based in 8388 W San Houston Parkway, S 178-B, Houston , TX 77072 as per ATLAS' website.  His name was Danny; contact number is: 281-785-5960; 281-785-5796.

On Jan. 04 (Sunday), ATLAS TEXAS' contact EULA then sent me a label instructing FEDEX to send the 24x18x18 balikbayan box to the ATLAS WAREHOUSE with this address: 1729 Brittmoore Rd. Bldg. B-4, Houston Texas, 77043. See attached. According to FEDEX, the 24x18x18 box arrived in the ATLAS WAREHOUSE last Jan 08, 2015.

A few days after sending the box, EULA sent me a billing invoice requesting me to prepare a cheque or money order payable to PALAYOK SARI-SARI. But she also sent me an SMS asking me why the box received was 25x20x20 and weighed 80 lbs. After receiving her message,I decided to  call some ATLAS agents here in the US  for verification as her message seemed to imply a need to up my current USD100  payment for a 24x18x18 box that was on "excess baggage" and had the "wrong size".

For my box size, I sent her an official receipt coming from OFFICE DEPOT confirming the box size at 24x18x18.
With that resolved, I then called a couple of ATLAS agents and found out that they did not consider weight when receiving the boxes. As long as they filled the box, the weight was a non-issue". I also found out about ATLAS' current promo of USD70 for a shipment of a 24x18x24 box to anywhere in the Philippines from the agents themelves.  My box was obviously smaller and lighter but it was more expensive. But I decided not to make an issue out of it as I figured that ATLAS AGENTS also need to make a profit for all their services.  However, I felt that something was not right because EULA bugged me about the 80lbs. weight. Why would she bug me about the weight if ATLAS agents confirmed that weight was a non-issue?

To settle the issue, I called up FEDEX to confirm the size of the balikbayan box that was sent to the ATLAS WAREHOUSE in Texas last Jan 04. The box ONLY weighed 60 lbs. Why would she then mislead me into thinking that I sent a bigger box and had excess weight?

Feeling now more anxious, I called up my Aunt last night. My Aunt  is a frequent ATLAS Shipper customer and she confirmed with me that they have never discussed  weight in the past with their ATLAS agent. She said that they always sent heavy items to make the payment to ATLAS worth its' price. WEIGHT was a non-issue. She also advised me that the invoice sent by ATLAS is always an ATLAS invoice where you can use your invoice number to track your shipping. The billing invoice sent to me by EULA as per ATLAS HOUSTON's advice was a PALAYOK SARI-SARI invoice. It did not look like an official receipt approved by the US Bureau of Internal Revenue, so that really got me suspicious. My Aunt also advised me that the shipper was probably bogus as ATLAS always sent an ATLAS invoice.

Fearing the worst now, I decided to send EULA an SMS last night correcting her of all the incorrect information that she advised.  I also advised her that I found out from ATLAS agents that weight was never considered when accepting packages. However, she never replied back to my messages or emails. That was then that I realized that there was really an overt attempt to mislead me into thinking that I was dealing with ATLAS SHIPPERS and that she was trying to extort me into paying more than the agreed USD100 for a 24x18x18 box where weight was never an issue. The fact that she placed ATLAS WAREHOUSE as the recipient of my box was really an obvious effort from her part to deceive me into thinking that I was working with ATLAS SHIPPERS. She also sent the invoice a few days later after the box arrived in Houston to make sure that I was cornered into paying them, even in the eventuality of finding out that I wasn't dealing with ATLAS at all.

Given this scenario now, it is obvious that my box is "hostaged" somewhere in Texas. I would, thus, like to request ATLAS SHIPPERS to look into my package's status.  It pains me to think that it will never make it to a Jan 13 shipment as I had initially planned but recovering it is more practical at this point. EULA is no longer responding to my messages, so in the eventuality that I will never hear from her again, I will take ATLAS SHIPPERS accountable for reimbursing me for all expenses incurred relating to the box as this mess was created by your ATLAS TEXAS team.

Please note that I also just emailed Mr. Joel P. Longares about this issue in his Facebook account to make sure that he has his head's up on the incident.  I am also letting you know that I have no qualms about emailing Secretary Purisima AGAIN  if I do not recover my box intact with all its valuables. I have contacted Sec Purisima's Dept 2x for cases involving Customs illegally witholding my overseas purchases. I need to already you know that Secretary Purisima's team has always responded to my emails, swift with action within the next 24 hours...so I really hope that we do not have to come to this.

ALL OF THE BOXES HAD ALREADY BEEN RECEIVED BY THE RECIPIENTS BUT MS. MILLIGAN DID NOT PAY US BACK YET AND IT IS NOW JULY 2014.  SHE KEPT PROMISING US TO PAY US BACK BUT EVERYTHING IS NOTHING BUT A LIE. 

WHEN SHE FOUND OUT THAT WE PUT HER ON OUR HALL OF SHAME SHE WANTED US TO TAKE IT OUT, BUT WE CANNOT TAKE IT OUT UNTIL SHE PAY US ALL WHAT SHE OWES US.

Due to the past experienced I have with Mr. Arthur Villamayor, many complaints from the customers on the delays and in one occasion they lost one of the box of Fort Smith customer. Mrs. Galvan sent 3 boxes on 03/2010, VILLAMAYOR only delivered 2 and according to them that is all they received. Mr. Villamayor gave us no report on what happened. June 2010, I have to pay the customer for her lost. I paid the customer $300 for her box and I returned her full shipping fee. Star Kargo had no plan to reimbursed me. Mr. Villamayor and I argued and I charged him $415 including the international long distance expenses. Villamayor Enterprises had a tendency to be LESS THAN HONEST WITH HIS AGENTS. So I decided that beginning in the month of September 2010 not to send anymore boxes through his company.
